Ludicrus Events

This is kind of a plea from the depths.

I've lived near Ipswich for a year since relocating from the midlands. I'm 41 and RPG's (mainly D&D) were a huge part of my life.

Try as I might, I can't find a group down here thats mature, reasoably serious, and willing to accept a new p_layer_ or dm.

If there's anyone out there (anyone?) who might have a space in a game anywhere in Suffolk, or any p_layer_s who'd like to make an old DM very happy by letting me run for them, please, please let me know. I run a good game. (With effects by ILM. I kid you not.)

Love to hear from anyone who doesn't think I'm too sad/needy/old, maybe meet up at the con and drink beer, let me kick your *ss at Magic, shoot the breeze, roll some dice... you know the drill.

We have a small group that meets every monday evening to play a little D&D. We're all 40 somethings although the question of how seriously we take it I guess is a matter of opinion. Due to relocation we've just lost a p_layer_ so there's definitely a vacancy and it may be worth you coming along for a couple of sessions to see if we're compatible.

If you happen to be at Gencon then come along to the Runik Games stand in the Trade Hall and say hello - alternatively if you pop into Runik Games anytime in Norwich Road, Ipswich then you meet Symon (he's probably the most strange of the group).

Failing having fun with Kelvin and the lads, I am looking for someone to take the role of DM for my gaming club (the White Eagles).
We only meet every other Saturday night in Hadleigh, but with the new version of D&d just out there is a lot of interest.
I'm too busy to run more than my own campaign with my local lads, and I also play in another campaign...
