If it's going to be mangled _meta_l, how many points will it be?

Also will it include Hordes aswell i.e. a Rage and Rivets type of event (both Hordes and WM)?

Its probably going to be 350 points and yes Hordes will be included. We thougt we would get peoples response to the idea and at least it wont be so "off the cuff" as it was last time...but if you or anyone has any thoughts drop us a line on the forum.

Personally speaking, I'd rather see five hundred pts, Mixed format(actually for the hallibut, I'd LOVE to play seven hundred hardcore. But, thats something for another day and time)

But yes, personally speaking, I'd like to see a mixed five hundred point tourney, Partly because Legends will be out around the time, so they'll be a lot of new stuff people will want to play with, Which could generate some good sales for Runik and appease the people aching to play with their new toys, and A five hundred Steamroller format would be good for that, especially because you have two lists to play with.

In addition, I feel five hundred allows for more creativity and it inst that hard to get a five hundred point force, with competitive level being reached relatively easily with the addition of one or two solos a unit and an extra jack/beast or two, which is also relatively cheap, plus at an event, where you'd have the time to play out slightly longer games, I feel five hundred would better suited to that aspect too.

Anyways just my two cents.

If it's going to be 500 pts, try and announce it fairly well in advance to make sure people have enough time to get an army together.

So long as there is plenty of warning, I think 500 pts would be reasonable, but I'd be just as happy with 350.

With any luck, I'll have that much painted by next September

Are you sure they'll be painted Rosie, I mean you only have 9 months

But I like the sound of 500pts too. Gives more variation to armies played throughout the day so people arent playin the same thing over and over again.

Nice to see someone else getting on the forum. As for the painted stuff i am sure that we can waver the fully painted thing and go for just undercoated if need be...especially for those who dont have a lot of time to paint and build....and cant manipulate the flow of time to suddenly paint a whole 500 point army in a weekend!!!....unless you are a time lord!

And if you get the right models you only need about 5 pieces to field a 500 point list......like those " beardy Kahdor p_layer_s "
