Ludicrus Events

Ludicrus is very pleased to announce the guest appearance of Dr Richard Bartle at our September 08 convention.

As an influential writer on all aspects of virtual world design, development and management Richard will be providing an insight into the world of game creation.  From the early days of the original Multi User Dungeon to the successes and failures of the current online gaming crop Richard has played a part in many of the games that have had a significant influence on our lives.

With his many years of experience Richard has some amusing stories to tell and his presentations are sure to be popular.  Be sure to book your seat early at the Admin desk.

With just 4 months to go to Ludicrus 08 the team are now looking for volunteers.

Do you have a favourite game that you'd like to introduce new players to?   Do you have lots of surplus energy that you could be used to setup tables and chairs or carry boxes as traders unload and setup their stands?  Or maybe you just like being given orders - whatever the reason why not volunteer a little time to help?

If you remember the rather splendid burgers at Ludicrus 07 then you'll be pleased to know we've managed to secure the services of the same caterers!

Felixstowe District Guides will be providing essential gamers rations throughout Ludicrus 08.  Everything from early morning bacon butties to an afternoon cup of tea and a slice of cake will be available from the refreshment points in the trade hall and tournament room 1.
