Rushing back to in the inn, Elandriel informs the rest of the party about the fire on the horizon. Deciding that investigation is the best plan of action, the group gather their equipment & head for the town gates, only to find them locked & guarded.
Unable to convince the gatemen to let them out, and seeing that most of the militia men are gathered on the wall in sight of the fire, Elandriel quickly leads the party to an unguarded section of wall, and people begin climbing over.
Outside the palisade, the fields are quiet & the few burning torches give little light, as the party make their way quickly across the landscape. Although the party gives the village a wide berth, the sharp-eared Ilvendor hears a cry go up from the village, as the watchmen spot the groups torches, however there is no sound or sign of any pursuit.

The group sat in the Goblin’s Blade in Tinderdale, discussing the events of the previous days. Should they stick together? There was no obligation for anybody to stay, as the job had been done and Captain Hardwick was more than happy with the results.
Zambar, feeling more boisterous, started playing tricks on one of the other patrons, a man of indeterminate age and non-descript features, sitting alone at one end of the bar.
The inn-keeper, knowing of Zambars abilities and having dealt with him before, quickly recognised the signs, as the man turned as if spoken to & batted at un-seen insects. Moments later, Zambar was forcibly ejected from the inn.

“I know you don’t know each other, but I know all of you. I have a little job that I’d like you to undertake.”
