OK, so I'm alex, from the gaming group 'The White Eagles'.
We are a small(ish) group of gamers based out of the Hadleigh Library.
Originaly we were SWARMM, but that club fractured and died it's death a few years back when the style of gaming took several strange and weird turns that left half the group upset with the other half and well...it got silly. So, rather than be enemies to each other, we set off on our own paths and formed two groups.
The WEagles (as we like to call ourselves) are from a school of thought that all games should be played for fun over anything else, whereas our counterparts had a far more 'Tournament' stlye of gaming that well...you can see they didn't match! :)
Still, it's worked out well for both groups and we find ourselves with a loyal core of players that turn out every other Saturday for a game and a giggle and and so on.
We play everything from magic the gathering, wow card game, through to warhammer and 40k, through to flames of war, warmachine and even games like monopoly and so on.
So there you have it, the WEagles are here to enjoy ourselves and game at the same time...feel free to check out the website (if I can ever get round to updating it!) and come on down as well...just bear in mind...we giggle a lot! :)
