He was a hard bargainer and now I barely have a copper piece to my name but I'm sure it is a sound investment for the future. How could I ever hope to become a skilled craftsman without the correct tools....

I am looking into a mirror, which shows a man wrestling with his conscience.
I have made a decision about the fate of Raiyanna.
It could have been easier but for the split in the party opinion, dear Marsha voted for the release of Raiyanna's spirit as did Iasiah.

It was ok till the monks came back to life. If they were dead well it stood to reason they didn't need it. But now they were back.
I can't just give it back - what am I going to say? "Oh I was just looking after it for you" - I don't think they'll fall for that one, especially as I neglected to mention it to anyone else.

The party moved into the chappel, taking as many candles and lamps as possible, and fortified the place as best they could for the night.

At night, the monastery was filled with shadow. An island of darkness in the mountains and the snow. Just as the sun went down, the party heard movement from behind the door of the refectory where they had built a warm fire. Footsteps and some evil laughter coming from the kitchen.

It is strange ... he is not the most charismatic or the brightest of leaders but there is something about Jacob. He is wary of me and yet was willing to forego his own comfort and warmth when I needed it.
Marsha may be more charismatic, Hugh more powerful physically, Isiaih more astute and Bovrain more interesting (strange man) but they all look to Jacob for guidance. I think I may have found the vessel to help me complete my objectives.

I remember the day well.
It was early evening on my 18th birthday ... my coming of age, the day I finally grew into womanhood. Morden was already in a bad mood having failed her finals for a second time but I couldn't care less - Latheluan was coming over to see me. Another step into womanhood beckoned this evening.
