Hotly contested over two days at the Ludicrus 08 game fair in Ipswich the first ever winner of the Football Resurrection "Runik Rose Trophy" fired his way to victory last Sunday.
Split over two formats, open play and an organised league, players went up against an Elite Grand Master and each other to compete for the "Runik Rose Trophy".

Ludicrus 2008 was held on 27th/28th Sept at the Kesgrave Community and Conference Centre. With twice the number of visitors than the previous year and lots of positive comments on the venue, it looks like we can say the event was a great success.

There's now another great new game for you to try out for free at Ludicrus 08 - Myndgames will be demonstrating Solairis  Solairis is the first release from Myndgames - it's an expandable card game of magic duelling warriors in a far away universe.
Players take control of one of the seven races of the prism system each with their own strengths and weakness players then use the unique power point system to cast and dispel spells. |

WOW Realm Qualifier confirmed |

Another great tournament has been added to the list of events at Ludicrus 08 with news that a World of Warcraft Realm Qualifier has been confirmed. What's a Realm Qualifier? Realm Qualifier tournament qualify players for their Realm Championship on November 22, 2008. Each event will offer players the chance to earn a spot in the Realm Championship for the Realm in which they qualified. In addition to the main event, each Realm Qualifier will host Booster Draft Challenges as often as there are enough people to run a Draft! The Ludicrus event falls under the Silverpine Forest Realm.
