This weekend is the Launch Weekend for Magic the Gatherings latest offering Alara Reborn with tournaments running all over the county with Runik Games!

The Alara Reborn launch starts this Thursday with the release of the third set in the Shards block and this time with a 145 card set which is totally multi-colour!

The tournaments begin at FNM in Ipswich with a couple of Shards/Conflux/Reborn booster drafts at the 24th Ipswich Scout Hall. Each starts at 7pm and costs £10 - running alongside Dungeons and Dragons and World of Warcraft CCG. As usual there will be some board games running as well - the fantastic new strategy game Eve; Conquest and even Talisman is back on the table with it's new Dungeon expansion release. There will also be demo's available for both Hex Hex and Crunch!

Saturdays' tournaments continue with two more booster drafts at the Runik Games store in Bury St. Edmunds on Sat 2nd May and these will have the foil promo card 'Knight of New Alara' for each player! The tournaments start at 11am and cost £10 each.

The final launch event tournament is being run in Ipswich on Sunday 3rd May at the 24th Ipswich Scout Hall on Bramford Road as a Theme Deck Challenge. There will be a Shards/Conflux/Alara booster draft run alongside the casual event with each player buying a random theme deck + an Alara Reborn booster to play with as well as receiving a foil promo Knight of New Alara card. Start time is 11am (doors open at 10am) and the cost is £15.
