June 27, 2007 (SEATTLE) — WizKids Inc. announced today the release of the DC HeroClix®: Legion of Super Heroes Starter Game, which takes DC HeroClix into the distant future and brings big changes to the HeroClix brand. Legion of Super Heroes is set in the 30th century, where a young SUPERMAN has been thrust forward in time and agrees to join a young team of adventurers in a universe that faces threats of unimaginable proportion!

The Legion of Super Heroes Starter Game introduces both updated and new game elements, such as an updated powers and abilities card and all-new character cards. Character cards provide background information like real name and first appearance, as well as one of the most exciting new additions: special powers, which allow for even more character customization than ever before. Each DC HeroClix: Legion of Super Heroes Starter Game (MSRP $19.99) contains seven all-new miniature game figures with character cards; two exclusive 3-D objects; a double-sided, full-color map; one feat card; one battlefield condition card; object and token markers; two six-sided dice and one base turning ring. The Starter Game is playable out of the box and contains the most up-to-date HeroClix rules.
