As it's my last working day before the holiday I thought I'd take the opportunity to summarise the last few weeks here at Ludicrus, mention the latest developments on the website and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...
It's been quite a hectic few weeks since the arrival of the new website. Obviously it's a much more complex undertaking than Ludicrus 07 and it hopefully shows the extra effort that we'll be putting into Ludicrus 08 to make a really first class games festival. This week has not only seen the launch of a classic series of games in the Ludicrus Arcade (Yeti Sports) but also lots of work on improving the community features so that we can really start to help game players in the East of England get to know what's happening and meet new players for their clubs or local groups. As well as being able to build your own profile showing your favourite games you can now send invites to your friends so they can join in the fun too. There will be a prize at Ludicrus for the person who has managed to get the most friends to join the site (more details to follow). If you have any literary skills or fancy yourself as a bit of a journalist reporting on new game launches or local club events then I would love to hear from you. Just drop me an email or send me a private message. I hope everyone has a great holiday and if you see me online then be sure to say hello - I expect I'll be adding a new game or two to the arcade so keep your eyes peeled. Happy Christmas Kelvin Webmaster
