The final part of Yeti Sports (#10 Icicle Climb) has now been made available in the Ludicrus Arcade. The ten games in the series have kept many of you amused over the holiday period and they are some of the most popular games we've seen. New games with a non-Yeti theme will be coming over the next few weeks so be sure to visit us regularly.
The cult started on the 19th January 2004 with a small, innocuous, game: A yeti stood, minding his own business, at the bottom of a cliff in the heart of a white landscape.
From the cliff, penguins started to jump down, landing around his large paws. Yeti, not being a slow-witted mammal, was quick to comprehend the plight of these poor birds. "They wish to fly", and, being a Yeti of helpful disposition, picked up his club and proceeded in aiding the falling penguins by hitting them as far as he could into the distant ice-scape.
Within a very short space of time a large number of likewise selfless people realised too the cause of the penguins and joined forces to help the Yeti. A cult was born.
From Antartica, the Yeti and his apprentice penguins embarked on the virtual "World-Tour 2004". A tour that would take them accross vast stretches of ice to Australia, Africa and Hawaii, before the lure of cold, ice and snow brought them to the Austrian Alps. During his travels the Yeti met up with the strange creatures of this world, all willing to lend a helping hand, or beak, in teaching those stubborn penguins the art of flight.
You can now play the Yeti series of games in the Ludicrus Arcade - find them under classic games. |
