Knightwish gets his wish and takes maiden Pre-Release win!

Fantastic Turn-Out for Ipswichs' Premier Games Club.

Last Sunday saw the pre-release tournament for the next Magic set called Morningtide. Once again we achieved a fantastic turn-out from the East Anglian gaming community with 36 players converging on the 24th Ipswich Scout Hall to play all afternoon for more boosters, t-shirts and foil promo cards from Morningtide before it is released next Friday 1st Feb.

Pete Thorpe (known as Knightwish to all of us on www.ludicrus.co.uk) won from Alex Davey in second place. Pete walked away with more boosters, a t-shirt, some foil promos and free entry to the Shadowmoor pre-release on Sunday 20th April. Mind you, you don't have to be the top player to win at a pre-release event; the top 24 players out of 36 all walked away with at least one Morningtide booster prize!

Don't forget that we'll be running some premier Magic events at Ludicrus in September - so if you see Pete there (you can't miss him) then make sure you try extra hard to beat him now that he is a champion!
